Trying to limit the number of powders that I'll use so I'm looking for powders that work over a range of calibers that I have. For example, I started my hand loading experience with H4831SC for my 7mm Rem Mag and 150 TTSX. I also have a 270 Win and a 270 WSM and Barnes has load data for those with TSX bullets and H4831SC. I was going to load for 308 and I also have 5.56, 6.5 Grendel, and 30-30.
Barnes has TSX load data for 5.56, 6.5 Grendel and 308 using H335 and load data for 5.56, 308 and 30-30. Are 5.56, 6.5, 308 and 30-30 close enough in the wheel house that you could/would develop a load for 30-30 with a Barnes 150 gr TSX and H335 or a load for 6.5 Grendel with a Barnes 110/120 gr TSX and H4895? I was thinking H4895 is what I want to use to start.
