686 Upgraded Rear Sight

I have a 6 inch S&W 686 that I put a scope mount on a few years ago. Now I'd like to use a rear sight on it and of course cant' find the original rear sight that I took off! I have had a Millet rear sight on order for a few months, but Brownells just told me it has been discontinued by the factory (though I just called Millet and they said they'd be shipping soon so who knows!).

Does anyone else make a rear sight for the 688? I'd prefer a higher quality site than the factory one, but I haven't seen any aside from Millet

Cylinder and Slide makes a fixed rear sight for the 686, called the Extreme Duty sight. I've been thinking about getting one to replace my 686's sights, but don't know how complex the installation is -- it looks like it should be a drop in though.

Bowen makes a "Rough Country" rear sight and I believe Jack Weigand also makes a rear sight for Smiths.

I have the factory Smith rear from an old 6 inch 686 I got rid of about 10 years ago. I bought a Millet and sold it off with the gun. I dont think I have the mounting screws for it. If you PM me I can mail it out to you for free. Im not going to use it.
