I'll be picking up my new Browning X-Bolt in a week or two. Hunting rifle, but I get obsessed with accuracy. Looking for a deer/antelope and maybe elk bullet that is very accurate, but has to perform well for hunting. 7mm Mag.

Thinking of Berger. Their new (at least to me) line supposedly has good accuracy. Maybe just advertising hype. Dunno. I've had excellent success with Nosler in smaller calibers

Need thoughts and opinions

TIA

Your rifle will be the deciding factor ... Some rifles will shoot most any bullet well .... Some will shoot some bullets well ... a few rifles will only shoot a few bullets well ....

Finding "What bullet" .... is a big fun part of getting a rifle to shoot well ....

Good luck .... Oh my main hunting rifle an A-Bolt .25/06 likes the Nosler Accubond bullets real well ...

You don't say at what ranges you plan on shooting, deer at less than 50 yds vs antelope at 175 yds vs elk at 50-350 yds? For all of that I'd say bonded if we want just one do all bullet.

Nosler is a fine bullet if your new rifle likes them, and you already use them elsewhere. Lots of guys like Berger. I get good enough accuracy for me out of Sierra most of the time.

I shoot a custom made 7MM Magnum I shoot Speer 160 grains with IMR-4831 And have outstanding accuracy less than an inch at 100 when I do my part Powders will vary from rifle to rifle. You have to find what your barrel likes. I usually go with the accuracy load determined by the powder maker I've had good luck doing that. A friend had a 7mm mag Encore he was shooting factory and the shots were all over the place he asked if I wanted to buy it I said don't give up on it I will work a load for you as I said I went with the accuracy load and he couldn't believe how it shot I asked still want to sell that barrel Lou
