8mm mauser JS ????? what is JS

Getting ready to load up a bunch of 8mm mauser came across a few headstamp hornady 8mm mauser JS. What dose js mean? Thanx.

Some early Mausers chambered in 8mm have a "J" bore of 0.318. Later "JS" Mausers have a bore of 0.323.

It means .323 bullet, as opposed to the earlier variant of the "8mm" round which had a .318 bullet. One of the reasons factory loaded 8X57 ammo is loaded so weakly is the fear that somebody will try to squeeze a .323 bullet down one of those old .318 bores.
