9mm 124gr coated bullet target load 1050 ish powder choice, the choices I listed in the poll are stocked locally to me and at fair prices
I am trying to pick something I can buy local instead of online , which of these should I try ?

Not on your list but when I was shooting lead in 9mm I used to like Universal.
I would try CFE-P and Silhouette from your list. Never used any but AA5 is about the same burn speed as Universal so it might be a good choice as well.

No way to tell what any gun will like best without just trying it so to be fair I would load up some ammo with all of the powders on your list, adjust to get the vel you want then just see what you gun likes best.

Yep I have several loads I like with sport pistol and be86 but for some reason my lgs has stopped stocking these even though they still carry some alliant but they dropped those two for some reason, I know I can chase online deals but it is nice to walk in and buy local ,

For full power target loads, many like Ramshot Silhouette.

None for lighter target loads as powders listed are slower burning powders that will produce accuracy at high to max load data and will burn inefficient/dirty at lower charges producing poor accuracy.

I would ask the LGS to order/stock faster burning powders for you.

Reference groupings of powders from faster to slower below and you want to use BE-86/WSF/N330 if you want mid-range load data that will produce accuracy and W231/HP-38/Sport Pistol and faster powders if you want lighter target loads that are accurate.

My recommendation for target load powders would be Promo, Bullseye, Target, Titegroup, WST, N320, Vectan Ba 9.5, No 2/Clean Shot, W231/HP-38, Zip, Sport Pistol, W244

Of those, AA #5 or Silhouette. I dropped #5 because it kept changing.

Gonna buy a different powder?

Plinkers? Sport Pistol or N320. Full power, Silhouette will work great.

Hard to beat AA#2 or wst for target loads with the coated bullet/9mm combo. Home cast/coated 125gr bullets in a box stock mn 1911 springfield armory RO chambered in 9mm.

That combo pictured above using 5.0gr of wst for a 25,000+/-psi load doing 1100fps+ out of that 5" bbl.

That target is not hand/cherry picked by any means. It's nothing more than the test target used that day.

JO JO, I have 4 bottles of Ramshot Silhouette in my cabinet and have found it works wonderfully in my 100gr 380 load, 115/124gr plated 9mm loads and my 185/200gr 45acp loads. Even at starting load weights I have great results but most is loaded to mid-range. If you look at the Data there is a large overlap between the Silhouette and AA#5 with the Silhouette using slightly less powder to achieve the same results. In my usage I find I use HP-38 and Silhouette the most in the 9mm with just about identical results in accuracy and consistency. I also like it because it is flash suppressed and we do a lot of indoor shooting and yes I can tell a difference when indoors.
