Found two in my scavenged brass I wasn't sure I'd seen before.
First is "FC NT 9mm Luger" Guessing Federal, but what is the "NT"?
Second is "E.D.P. 9x19", marked so the tops of the letters are going off the brass.
Just curious.

I haven't come across the NT yet but I have heard of these recently as "non toxic". I have heard tell of priming problems as the pocket seems smaller than normal.

Not sure about the EDP.

The NT stands for Non Toxic. I was told by one of the Federal reps at the SHOT Show last week that it won't be long before the lead styphnate primer will be gone and all primers will be "non toxic".

Hope this helps.

Right on, Fred.:)

With the rapidly increasing use of improperly ventilated/cleaned indoor ranges, airborne lead is an increasing problem in the opinion of the EPA. (I don't necessarily always agree with the EPA, but the stupid jerks in the government allow them to write and enforce the rules without MY approval! :p:neener::p )

So you're going to see a lot more NT in the very near future.

Non toxic primers, OK, how odd. Wasn't aware my primers were so deadly dangerous...
Greek brass, hmm, alright, thanks guys, I appreciate it.
