A custom built 1911 or not?

Alright, I have to know. No slide stop catch, a lot of parts missing, inadequate plunger tube staking, recoil spring too short/broken, not much evidence of rifling. Reminds me of the toy guns from the "Golden Age of Tin".

Aftermarket plunger tube, match bull barrel:rofl:, but it's missing both safeties ;) and could use a new set of grips!:D

Where in the world did you ever come across that specimen?

Better than I could do with a hand file in front of the T.V., so I'll give props to whoever cobbled it together, but I'll pass on being the first one to test fire it...

Looks like some of the firearms I would run into coming out of Lahore. After it has been through a very large house fire.
