Some time ago, our very own "Klausman" wrote an incredible history on powders... specifically, early smokless powder.

His article covers some that I'm sure you will recognize and be surprised at not only how old they actually are, but their transition through the years!

I consider this writeup to be certainly worthy of front page positioning at StevesPages.com and have placed it there for your reading enjoyment!

Here's the link to the article http://stevespages.com/L&R-Smokeless-F16P.pdf and many thanks to Klaus!!!

Enjoy!

My pleasure putting it up guys but the credit here is due to Klausman for documenting the story and history!!!

You are absolutely right about how fascinating it was.

Thank you very much for posting it.

We all owe Chris a debt of gratitude for rescuing and keeping the wonderful resource, Steve's Pages online. I'd encourage anyone interested in keeping this marvelous resource to support his efforts with a donation.

I was pleased that he chose to add my research into the origins of Unique and Bullseye powders to Steve's Pages. I am particularly honored that he chose to put my modest history piece on the front page.

Thank you Chris.

I hope CLP got past that "scandalous" picture on page 5.

Cudos just keep coming for Klaus' work... Here's a screen shot of the most popular downloads at StevesPages and as usual, Klaus' book on the L&R is the favorite! Thank you Klaus for bringing it up to me!
