Thank you, Jbrown50, for bringing some common sense to the "move to another state" mentality that we see oftentimes see here. I'm amused at the number of posters who advise me to move from NYS because of the 10-round mag restriction. As if I am going to pull up roots and move just so I can load more rounds into my guns! Instead I choose to stay put and petition my legislators, vote accordingly, and inform others to do so.

Many of these posters---or should I say posers---think of themselves as patriots because they live in a "free state," when indeed the real patriots stay and fight. Don't they know that the loss of their freedoms is only a signature away? Then where will they move?

The United States was based on the idea that if one State was sorry you move to a better one. What had happened was that everyone didn't like that concept so they turned to the National Government to get involved and try and make every State equally sorry. If we would have done it right everyone one could have been happy. The anti-gun folks would have had them some places to live. The multiple wives folks would have had a place. And so on.
