sorry for being so enthusiastic but I am pumped!!!

What a great experience!!!

Having always wanted a Diamondback I finally found one that I could afford. Great gun, trigger like greased goose squeeze. Got it under 700 bucks and it is in really nice shape.

The holster that it came with is ugly and hangs too far down for concealment purposes. And as you know, virtually nobody makes leather for Diamondbacks.

I had a lot of requirements. It seems that I am always crawling around under houses or running heavy equipment so I wanted a retention strap. Banging into things is common for me so I wanted to cover as much of the gun as reasonable. Living in Texas I wanted a sweat shield. I wanted a holster made just for me and my vintage sidearm.

Well I found a real nice fellow named Cotton Inks of Cotton Custom Leather.

I dropped my gun off to him and he built a one-off custom holster for me. Trust me, nobody has a holster like this!

I could not be more pleased with how it turned out. He gave me updates every stage of the way. He sent me different photos. He engaged me at every stage for my approval.

This is exactly what I asked for and the bill was only 85 bucks! (his "off the rack holsters are only 75ish) I have paid more than that for off-the-rack holsters!!!

I cannot recommend him highly enough.

My enthusiasm is such that I am looking around to find other things that he can make for me. Knife scabbards are something that I am considering. Maybe a dog collar (for an actual dog!!!).

He is a great guy that does great work at a great price.
