A new taste is developing for a 410 side by side

I happen to have a Baikal 410 SxS in the back of my safe. Never had much interest in it, but it's a nice looking little gun. Much thinner and handier than a 12ga SxS. Then again I've never outgrown the 410, and never intend to. I'm going through an figuring out exactly what my grandpa left me, so I'll let you know how it shoots someday sooner than later

I managed to pull it out and fondle it a bit. It's a armscor import. It's really a pretty gun with a walnut looking stock and engraved stainless reciever. I'm positive it hasn't been super much at all because the break open action is very stiff.

Man,does it swing nicely! Not quite as handy as my Steven's 22-410, but close.

I sold my Stevens SxS 410 to my barber for a fraction of it's worth because she was buying it for her son. Later, I got the itch for another SxS and ended up with an Ugartechea 20ga, really fine little gun. It was light, fast, well balanced, handsomely made and I couldn't hit squat with it.!! So, I sold it. My urge for SxS has been cured.
