I'm building out an AR, and I wanted to get a Vltor stripped upper (because I don't want a forward assist) This item.

I would like to mate it with an Adams Arms Upper assembly, I was wondering if anybody who has an Adams Arms can tell me, am I going to be able to change the Adams Arm receiver to the Vltor or not?

Thanks!

Yes, however you will need this. It installs in the upper receiver in the gas tube hole and is the hardened bushing that the op-rod rides on to remain aligned and to prevent wear on the aluminum upper receiver itself.

I have one of those Vltor uppers. Really nice. I also have 2 Adams Arms piston kits. Also very nice.

ETA: You will need something to drive the bushing into place. The AA kits come with an 8" steel rod for that purpose. Also once the bushing is installed, it isn't coming out, but a normal gas tube will fit through it.
