I have a Benjamin Titan in .22. Its a break barrel with a scope mounted on the reciever. I'd like to fabricate or add iron sights mounted to the barrel.
I'd benefit more from open iron sights shooting pests in the backyard.

What are my options?

How is that scope mounted? To a rail on the receiver? If you have a rail, you might be able to just find some that will attach. Of course, there are AR sights, but those might be too tall for your uses and may not be enough sight radius due to the short rail. Can you silver solder a front sight onto that air gun? I know guys that had front sights soldered to shotgun barrels, then all you have to do is find a rear sight.

The scope is mounted on the standard airgun/.22 dovetail (3/8").
I could solder on the front. But i was thinking of doing a clamp on blade.
Where should i look for a rear sight?

What about a cheap red dot designed for airguns and it has the 3/8 dovetail mount. Maybe that's worth trying b4 reinventing the wheel here..

they make peep sights that will mount to the scope grooves for the rear sight - they work great!

I really like iron sights (peep sights, especially) but even so, I think I would look for a different scope (maybe a red dot as suggested) before I would try to mount iron sights on the gun.

If you are really determined, I would do some kind of a clamp-on for the front sight (finding something that fits may be tricky) and then a receiver mounted peep like the ones offered by Williams.

Problem solved- Bought a new pellet gun with sights. Lol.
Much the same as my current benjamin titan, except it has irons (and a dovetail). Its a crosman vantage in .22. Should arrive in a couple days.

I'll vouch for the Williams peep. I have one mounted on a .177 springer and it's very nice. It's so much better than stock rear irons that I now want to modify the front sight to squeeze out a bit more precision. The stock front optic is usually 0.060 in diameter and I'm finding that to be too large.

One downside of a rear iron mounted on the dovetail is that if it's a break barrel, then barrel droop could come into play. If it's a new-ish rifle, then maybe not immediately, but it'll happen eventually.

How low a William Sight can go? What is the lowest height from center of peep to receiver? I have a side lever want to install a peep sight.

Thanks. 0.61" may not work for mine. The iron sight measured 0.62" from the notch to the receiver for shooting target at 10 yrs. The iron sight can go as low as 0.48". It is a Chinese QB88 side lever, I have a scope on it currently, would love to find a peep sight for it.

Is there any chance to modify the front sight so that you could accommodate that rear peep? You can get apertures of different diameters as well.

I'm running a fairly basic Umarex and just ordered a couple extra front sight assemblies so I can hopefully tune my front sight a bit better, as well as using a finer front optic. I have no options for adjustment other than using the Dremel tool and super glue method...
