I have a Remington 1100 field gun I want to make into my backup or loaner trap gun. I am thinking about adding an extended choke to it for a couple of reasons.
1. I like an extended choke because you don't have to use a wrench between rounds to check it for tightness. Using my winchokes that you can tighten by hand easily have spoiled me. The Remchokes on 1100's require a wrench to do this.
2. I am going to need a different choke than came on the gun anyway to shoot trap, so why not get an extended choke for the above reason!
I am considering a Briley Invector extended choke. I saw them at Bass Pro. Are there others I should consider as viable candidates as well?
