This was just revealed at SHOT. I'm really excited about it because of how affordable it is. Aimpoint is an extremely reputable optic company, and I believe that one of their red dots is in service with the armed forces. Anyone else think the new PRO is cool?

Looks like a Comp M2...

The Aimpoint PRO (Patrol Rifle Optic) debuted at SHOT last week. The scope has been put together with law enforcement officers in mind. The basic optic is comparable to the Aimpoint CompM2 but with the more popular 2 MOA dot (emitter) rather than the larger 4 MOA dot. It features a QPR2 quick release mount which is also found on the military Aimpoint CompM4. With its 30,000 hour (3 - 4 year) battery life Aimpoint recommends turning it on and leaving it on. The MSRP is $440.

Actually it is a Comp M3 not an M2. This is a great move by Aimpoint. It brings a quality Optic/Mount down near the price range of some budget choices. MSRP of $440 means it will be closer to the $400 point for most of us. To give you an idea I was seeing M3s with mounts selling for $550 on the secondary market not that long ago.

they are out, we got some today, its a heck of a nice optic and for what you get a good deal, they are/were suppose to be a LE dealer only product, but I am sure that wont last

Specs I read say 2moa..
