Not be to harsh

Wait a dog gone minute. I think the ol' General is on to something here. We do have a large prison population just useing up tax dollars. Lets put those folks to good use and have them make a positive contibution to society.

wow

Why don't we stop wasting money such crappola, and put the R&D into more lethal technology?? Has this country become this feminized? :barf:

Try out the "less lethal" weapons on him. Repeatedly. For days at a time. This guy (what's his job description - coke sacker? cork soaker? sock tucker?) thinks of us as the enemy and as guinea pigs to calibrate the lethality of his new toys. He's gone so far beyond the bounds of decency that he'll need a map and four Apache guides to find his way back.

Try them out on the prisoners? For those of you who get your jollies hurting people - but only the right people of course - let me clue you in. No matter what gives Dick Cheney an erection, torturing prisoners just to see what will happen or to see how many of them die is still against the law and against treaties which have the same force of law as anything passed by Congress or issued in one of The Decider's imperial decrees.

And the couple of morons who advocate using them to torture the people at political rallies you don't like? People like you - yes, High Road and all, you personally - are the reason for the Second Ammendment.

the Stepford Secretary

The man's right for the time, the perfect product of a PC military. Run the military according to world opinion, run everything by the foreign press corps. This guy is a beauty. Who advanced him, who appointed him?

I wonder if he would advocated testing the Hiroshima and Nagasaki nukes here first, just to see how much damage they'd really do.

Well said. There's lots of rallies I don't agree with, but the fact that they can have them and speak their minds is what makes this America.

Anyone who'd advocate HURTING people just for expressing themselves in a nonviolent manner is not an American, and ought not to be here.

That's just sick. Twisted, evil, sadistic, and sick.

And I agree. People who advocate that sort of thing ARE one of the reasons I'm armed. To deal with them if and when they try to put their fantasies into practice.

And as for "crowd control", I suppose that nut secretary has never heard of trample panics. You suddenly put a lot of people in abject pain, they're going to trample each other and people are going to die.

Quote from Longeyes:
"Crowd-control situations? Against Americans?

Hmmm. You don't think they're expecting popular "resistance," do you?"
--------------------------
Resistance, natual disaster, bird flu, commoners fed up with an increasingly widening divide between the economic/political/racial/ classes, Bio attack, whatever. :fire:
This guy must still be kicking himself for missing that recent golden opportunity (a.k.a. Katrina). :cuss: :cuss:
I know some people will start sending me tin foil hat instructions, but I think it is noteworthy that the gov't is spending such massive amounts of shrinking funds on devices that CAN be used on it's own citizens with the military's blessing (and encouragement). There seems to be a great desire to not only impose their absolute will on other govt's or populations of other countries by the military, but also to control the US population by the military.:scrutiny:
As far as the, ahem, "General" goes..........I guess the best we can hope for is that he will soon defect to Iran to head up their weapons program. :D :D
Sounds like a win-win situation to me.

Hmmmmm How about us private citizens advocate testing stuff on the Air Force Secretary ? ? ? ?

We're fighting the Iraq war there so we don't have to fight it here?

It appears our Government is preparing for what is euphemistically called "sectarian violence."

On one hand, worrying about PR from using these overseas is dumb.

On the other hand, US cops already use a wide range of riot-control weapons, so immediately jumping to the conclusion that this is to zap peaceful protesters is rather silly.

Most protests occur peacefully. Riots of any kind should be suppressed, whether by teargas, beanbags, or fancy new microwave emitters.

Heck, the majority of riots are sport-related as far as I can tell.

"If we're not willing to use it here against our fellow citizens, then we should not be willing to use it in a wartime situation,"

you know, there are over 12+ illegal aliens in this country, and they're considered "fellow citizens" by some in this day and age...and an out-of-control southern border...just maybe...no, never mind...:what:

Correcto-mundo. :cuss:

if the U.S. stopped policing the world....

then!!!!!!!!!!!! we wouldnt be vilified for doing ANYTHING! what a concept.....

"Name one major police department that hasn't prepared to suppress riots for the last 30 years."

Correcto-mundo II :cuss:

Obvious;y, the safest test would be to deploy all experimental non-lethal weapons against Air Farce generals before releasing them for field issue.

Do a search on "Bikini Atoll"

WE did test our nukes on our own soldiers. Had a bunch of enlisted guys on a nearby atoll. They all got radiation poisoning -- surprise, surprise.

Another fine eaxample of those who fail to learn the lessons of history being doomed to repeat them ... except that this cretin wants other people to suffer the consequences of his idiocy.
