AK-74 Tantal and olypic arms ar-15 Q's

Hi guys im new here, just decided to sign up today but I have been lurking for a few months. I recently became interested in guns and currently own a Yugo SKS and a Norinco SKS, I have also previously owned a Wasr-10 (regret selling). Anyways Im about to sell my Norinco SKS in hopes of getting an AK-74 tantal because it looks like a great gun with cheap ammo, however I am weary of buying it because of future supply of 5.45x39 ammo and mags and parts for this gun. I found a place that has them in stock they include 2 30rd. mags, and bipod for 519.95 with shipping its $535.00 and FFL X-FER+20.00=$555.00 invested with no ammo. Is this a good deal and do you think the market will open up to accomodate these rifles?

I also have the opportunity to buy an olympic arms AR-15 223 from a buddy for 875 brand new. What are yall's opinions about the Olympic Arms AR?

The Tantal makes sense if you are going to take advantage of the cheap ammo, the price seems right. You should buy many cases of the Russian surplus while it is still available. I would only buy the Tantal new so that you could get warranty work if needed. Some of them had oversized bores and feeding problems.

I don't have any personal experience with the Oly's. The price sounds a little high to me.

Oly ARs are not thought highly of ANYWHERE. Do a search for Oly ARs and see what comes up. Also, 875 is WAYYYYYYYYYY too high. unless it comes with a like new aimpoint and like 30 pmags. Maybe your friend was high when he made you that offer.
