Hello all!
Sorry to rehash an old subject, but travelling to every site I could find and abusing the search function has left me unsatisfied.
My question is regarding the NATO versus WARSAW length stock sets on an AK, specifically the Saiga .308. Now that mags are coming, I have an excuse to convert mine finally.
I'm about 6'3" and haven't been able to decide if the longer LOP on the NATO set is wise. The rifle will be used mainly for 3-gun style shooting. It seems like the shorter LOP would be nice for any tight-quarters in which I might be shooting, as well as for speed to shoulder the rifle. I also wonder if I might tire more quickly from having a the longer stock, the rifle's center of balance being further away from me. At the same time, I wonder if it will feel 'cramped' with the Warsaw length.
Anyone have specific experiences relating to the saiga .308 and/or preferable AK stock length for 3-gun type shooting? Any thoughts are appreciated!
