I was at DSA arms site looking at AR parts, and the stripped recievers seemed resonably priced, then I saw this: http://www.dsarms.com/AR15-Lower-Re...orging-Military-Spec---1001/productinfo/1001/
There has got to be something I'm not seeing here - is there a reason why this is so inexpensive? Does it need machining done to it, is it not very strong? Is this just a blank to make a mold for AR lowers?
Or is this actually a useable piece? (If so, I may pick one up!)
I'm very new to the AR platform, always considered them too fancy and pricey for me, so I have no idea if what I'm looking at is, well, I don't know what it is.
Thanks,
Chris "the Kayak-Man" Johnson
