Handguns are VERY Important in the war zone.
This is a real account that happend in Rhodesia (now Zimabawe) in the bush war.
A group of 4 Rhodesian SAS operators were on a recce mission and they ran into an insurgent party of 5 freedom fighters (terrorists, which ever you prefer). The distance between the groups are a couple of yards in thick bush. Frantic shooting and every weapon dry only one insurgent down. Then frantic stares and grabbing for mags. Then one SAS operator got out the old HP en ends the engagement.
Before you start going on about bad shooting and all that. You do not shoot so well after carring 60 to 70 kg of kit for weeks. These teams had to be self reliant for two months at a time.
This is a real time stand still moment.
