Ammo background checks temporarily lifted?

According to Midway, Brownells, and others, California and New York residents can order ammo online from out of state. Not sure who else has BR checks. If you need,ammo nows the time. I think even if they are out of stock, long as you get order in before the checks resume, they can ship to you.

If ordering in Ca. That ammo still has to go to a licensed dealer to sell it to you! Another middle man to raise the price! Ca. laws are numerous and devious in that states goal of unarming the people there. AND giving money to illegal aliens.

New York state never got their background check system up and running, possibly because they thought the federal government would let them use their system. That fell through and the state was already in the red and never got that far with it. There are a few places that will ship ammo to NY state, ( not NYC ), although most will not. Target Sports USA still ships to NY state and Outdoor Limited does also. ( www.targetsportsusa.com & www.outdoorlimited.com ). I made a purchase from Target Sports USA a couple months ago. According to each web site they both still ship to NY state. Target Sports USA is in Connecticut IIRC and Outdoor Limited is in N. Carolina. There may be one or two others but I can't recall who. Outdoor Limited now has a banner on their web site that states " California ammunition shipments have been temporarily allowed due to a recent court decision". Check it out if interested.

In CA, I think the State will quickly appeal this injunction by the District Court to the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals. Traditionally, that has been a left leaning court, not friendly to the 2nd Amdmt. I don’t expect this injunction to last for very long. (But I hope I’m wrong.)
