Just remembered I had 1/2 a case of ammo in the trunk of my car....temps have been -0 the last few days...is the ammo OK???I brought it in this morning...I have an IDPA match this weekend, should I get new ammo???Thanks...

Now that I brought it in it probably will have some condensation with the temp change from outside to inside.....should I just wipe them off??

Only if they feel wet.

If they feel dry they'll be ok, if not just grab a clean towel or paper towel and wipe them off.

If they were in styrofoam trays they were insulated anyway.

Yeah they were in styrofoam in the original boxes....thanks thats a load off(no pun inteneded)..I guess I need to find a better"hope the wife don't see this case of ammo"place:D
thanks again......

I asked my NRA instructor about it- he said he's never had a problem with frozen ammo. I asked becasue I will sometimes have ammo in my car for a while when it is (as it is right now) about 2 degrees out.

... will be fine.

But, if you don't want to chance it, I'll shoot if for you and let you know how it does. Just send it to me!
