I used to search shows and shops for boxes of old classic rounds like .32 (Colt, S&W Long and short). A few different .38 calibers as well for like $1 or $2. I sold them all off over the years to friends who knew where to come for an odd gun or revolver. Most of that stuff has dried up and they are now all gold nuggets.
I have been wanting a revolver in .32 Long or Magnum for a while. possibly a Break Open revolver. So long story short, at the range today and spotted two lonely boxes of Remington RNL .32 Long. Price was $24 a box per-pandemic price so I grabbed them. Always good to have factory ammo as well as the brass for loading. They had some Fiochi Wadcutter on the shelf but just took the RNL. I guess I just locked myself in.
Anyone else ever do this.
