An idiot cleaning his gun! - GRAPHIC pics.

Found this on another sight that has never had anything gun related at all this morning. This guy not only shot himself, he (like the other post of the guy letting his buddy shoot him in the vest) is bragging about being a dumb@$$

"Keep, On Friday the 8th I was working on my new gun. I could have swore it was empty but it wasn't. Anyway I put a 9mm slug through my hand. Luckily it missed all the bones and just got meat. All my fingers still work and have feeling plus it doesn't really hurt that much. The bullet did less damage than the gases did because I had my hand over the end of the barrel. The bullet ended up in the top of the night stand, just dumb luck that I wasn't hurt worse. I sent you a picture several years ago of my sons xray of his hand with a BB in it that you featured. I guess it runs in the family." -Dale

And, if you notice, it runs in his family. His kid has already done the same thing with his BB gun.

Stupid is....as stupid does!

I prefer to clean a new gun first, and then load it. I guess he wanted to make sure it had the right chamber bored in it by loading a round first.

Name calling of such unfortunates doesn't contribute to the sum of our knowledge. Individuals injure and kill themselves with motor vehicles, power tools, caustic chemicals, high structures, and geographic features. One of the valuable things about a handgun is its ability to puncture and disrupt tissue. There's nothing new to be learned here, and the subject matter is off topic.
