I have Lyman, Speer, Hornady, and Lee loading manuals and can't find any load data for a .45ACP 185 grain cast lead semi wadcutter bullet. All I can find is for 200 or 230 grain. I used the 200 grain data and assembled a dummy round with no powder or primer. Fit the mag fine and chambered in my Kimber SIS Pro. Is it safe to use this data? My C.O.L. is 1.20". Taper crimp was .469" at the case mouth. Thanks in advance.

The 200 Gr SWC data will be perfectly safe to use with 185 Gr SWC's. That O.A.L. sounds fine as well.

180 grain LSWC 3.6 Bullseye

I bought a used Springfield 1911 that was set up for the above load for shooting Steel competition. Works fine.

Set you seating die to match the overall length as factory hardball.
