Been through a couple different quality leather gun belts and my issue with them always comes back to the holes stretching over time. So I'm looking at switching to a belt system without holes.

So far I've looked at two that are appealing, the RGB and the Aegis. Anyone who uses either of these I'd love your thoughts.

Also any other suggestions for belts similar to those two would be nice.

If you don't mind a web belt, for the price, I really like Bison Heavy Duty Last Chance belt. Its very similar to the Wilderness survival or 5.11 Trainer belt of similar construction but the buckle is Aluminum instead of steal making it much much lighter. Its also only a three stitch double web belt where the other two are five stitch making is just a touch more flexible and thus more comfortable. Mine has worn like iron and it gets used a lot and frequently carries a full size revolver, large multi-tool and my phone on it. For the price I have definitely got my money's worth out of it.

Kore Essentials Gun Belt. I've been wearing one for 6 months. No stretching. Infinitely adjustable. Good looking buckles to choose from. (It's a ratchet system belt-- there are several out there but I think this is the best one.)

What leather belts have you already tried? I’m sorry to not answer your question directly but as a leatherworker and belt maker I am intrigued.

I ask because I wore a Belt Man belt completely out (after 8 years and no maintenance) and it was not the holes that gave way but rather the spot the buckle always dug into. Wore into the edges until there was a rip coming from both sides into the most worn hole. My own belts wear similarly.

IME, individual holes only stretch a little. The whole entire belt stretches more.

I personally cannot stand the standard friction web/nylon belt. My current gun belts are both KORE gun belts. One in black leather, the other in black nylon. Incredible belts for carrying a firearm. I ended up getting the closet hanger for mine to keep both belts organized.

They also stand by their 1 year warranty. One of my leather belts developed a small tear in it near the end. And they sent me a new belt, sans buckle.

How come all of the Kore belts I look at on Amazon explicitly say "not a gun belt"?

I looked at some "rigger" and tactical type reinforced nylon belts at a LGS today and one, most are too wide for my ED jeans and two I dont really like the buckle system. But they definitely had the sturdiness I'm looking for.

Has anyone used the Bladetech ratchet belt system?

I'd be more interested in the Kore system but every ad for them I've seen on Amazon says they are not gun belts. I dont know if that's an anti gun Amazon thing or what.

Go to the Kore web site. Amazon may not sell their gun belt.
Or google Kore Essentials Gun Belt

The typical default width is 1.5", which should fit most jeans belt loops and is what most holster loops are.

I have a safariland hook and loop belt.
I'd look into the beltman no buckle.
Amazon lists over 20 thousand results for gunbelt including Hanks, galco, Safariland, relentless tactical, and blade-tec. Ive bought probably 30 holsters from amazon (bianchi, gould and goodrich, safariland, galco etc) along with scopes weapon lights, etc. I missed the anti-gun memo I suppose. Maybe the sellers just dont list the right ones. Or just screwed up the title and description.

In men's pants 1.5 is pretty standard but many are 1.75. Of all my pants only one pair of expensive suit pants has anything smaller than 1.5 inch.

Like you I must have missed the anti-gun memo. I have bought a bunch of gun stuff from Amazon, some just recently. Out of curiosity I checked on KORE belts on both Amazon and Kore's website. Kore shows gunbelts for the same price as their fashion belts on Amazon.
