Well, I've been thinking about one of these for awhile. It's a Ruger Blackhawk Convertible in .45 Colt, with an auxiliary cylinder in .45 ACP. I just started loading .45 Colt a couple of months ago, and thought the .45 ACP cylinder might come in handy someday. It's blue with the 5-1/2" barrel, was manufactured in 2003, has the factory wooden grips, and was advertised as being in 99% condition. I should pick it up from my local gun pusher late next week. Here's the mandatory photo (from Gunbroker):

So, for $425 plus shipping, was I sorely abused or did I make out OK? Be gentle, this economy's getting to my nerves...

I would give that for it. If you decide you're not satisfied and want to sell send me a PM.

New convertables are priced for around $625 in my area. So it sounds like you got a pretty good deal for the condition its in.

With the cylinder? I think you did great. It's a hell of a gun, built like a tank, will outlast you, and shoots two different rounds... what's not to like?

$625 is REALLY high for a new one. I was looking at the .357/9mm convertable and the .45LC/.45ACP last week. The .45 was marked $550 and I could have walked out with it for $565 including the tax. The .357 was abit less IIRC.
