Dang! I bought the Brownells one. I could have gotten TWO BCA and had change left over LOL

You will be happy with that one ..... mine shoots really well ....it is a 22 conversion to 9 mm ....except my gun is a 31 ....

I didn't have to change magazines either ....my 357 SIG (same as the 40 S&W)mags do the 9mm also ....I may pick up a couple 9mm mags ....but it is good that I didn't have to ....

What exactly is your question? Most people find the .40 mags work well enough with 9mm for rage guns, but many people just buy the appropriate 9mm mag (Glock 17 in my case) to use with the conversion barrel.

What about magazine interchangeability?

Never thought about doing a conversion until you brought it up.

My 357 SIG magazines(they are the same as the .40S&W magazines) feed 9mm ammo just fine ....

I have shot several hundred rounds(probably close 500) and have had zero malfunctions....

I will pick up some "17" magazines one day . ...May try a couple Magpul(they are $9 each at Primary) ...just to see ...

Is it Tactical Kinetics barrel?

Mine has 6 right hand twist rifling with unique center channel on each "land" - https://www.thehighroad.org/index.p...g-oal-col-for-reference.848462/#post-11068320

I can't see any evidence of the center channel thing but my close-up vision isn't the best anymore. It does fit well and feels like good quality. Once the loc-tite dries on my new Ameriglo sights I'll try out the barrel and see if it works.

Well I only had time to shoot one mag through it but I used my 40 caliber mag and it worked perfectly fine

It hits about an inch or maybe two above the sights which is fine And in my view much preferable than hitting low. With my moderate range loads of 124 pleated round nose power bond over 4.2 grains of W231 and a 20 pound wolf recoil spring and guide rod it is ridiculously soft. The brass just sort of poops out and falls on my arm. So obviously that is not going to work for reliability but it sure is nice to shoot. I will have to get a regular RSA to use when shooting 9 mm or maybe get a wolf spring kit or something. Overall I am super stoked So far. I am going to shoot this pistol a lot more now.
Apologies for any miss spellings or wrong words. I am using voice to text

I had never looked at the rifling other just quick glance....yeah it does have the middle grooves.... and my barrel is dirty!

Well after a few more magazines the jury is still out. It functions perfectly but the accuracy is definitely not up to my standards so far. I shot an offhand group with the Lonewolf 40 caliber barrel and then I shot another group of the same ammo with the OEM barrel and then I shot a group with my 9 mm ammo through the conversion barrel. The first two groups were nice hand sized groups in a consistent cluster, while the 9 mm group was sort of all over the plate and I had four misses out of 17 shots which is kind of ridiculous at 18 yards. Soooo... maybe it’s my ammo, though it seems to work fine in my 9mms.
I had to seat them to 1.14” to plunk in some other guns... maybe this barrel wants longer ones. Dunno.

Hey, just an FYI on those Classic Firearms Korean mags I posted above. Took them forever to ship them and I just now got them the other day. They are not the same KCI/KAHN Korean mags you usually see when you buy Korean. These are marked RWB, and come in different packaging.

They all functioned fine while shooting, but they do not drop free when empty like the factory and other Korean mags do. Not a biggie for range mags, but it is annoying.

At $5, for practice/range mags, they are still a pretty good deal. At their regular price (around $9), Id pass, as you can get the KCI and Kahr mags for the same price, and they work as they should.
