I was looking for opinions concerning sights for a cz 75b. Any experience with novak, heinie, lpa, mmc, and especially ashley outdoors big dots would be appreciated. I would like actual exp. with the above sights on CZ pistols. Thanx Craig
About a year ago, I had a pair of MMC adjustable night sights installed on my CZ 75b. They had to machine the slide, but the machinist determined the existing rear sight was incorrect for the gun (which explained why it was hitting the target so high) while he was working out the math. He also determined that he could use the existing front night sight, which saved me about $50.
The sights are great now. I'm very happy with the result and the service.
I have the original sights and I'm not too happy with them (far to small and difficult front sight aquisition). I'm interested in Ashley 24/7 sights with the standard dot, so I'll let you know how they worl out if I get some.
I have a PCR with PT nights, the bar-dot/dot setup...alot like Novak's...very nice. Flakey company great product.
I also have a set of "In R&D" fiber optics for my SA 75 B..very high profile, so holsters are a bitch for it....but so far are proving very very tough and nice for quick acquisition.
Shoot well.......
The best sight I have ever tried on the CZ75b is the Docter sight..
Greatest thing for old eyes there ever was or perhaps will ever be.. Is it evident that I like the sight ??
I've the Big Dot on mine. When they first came out, the rear was too high and I had to wait for a month or so until Express had them available in .270 height. Now it shoots perfect.
Shot low light (more like no-light) with 'em this past weekend and boy, hard for you to miss that Big Dot. Stay focus on the target and that dot just shows up right there. Pretty amazing.
