Do any of you have first-hand experience with the people at CZ-USA? I'm a loyal CZ customer and user. I really like CZ firearms but I had a bad experience with their customer service people in Kansas City a few days ago. This latest incident is basically a repeat of the same rudeness and "don't give a $#!t" attitude CZ-USA offered me in April of this year. The whole story is too long to re-post but if you would like to read it all, you can find it HERE.

The thing that has me irritated here is the manner in which I have been talked to on two separate occasions now. Most of my problem arises not from what the CZ-USA rep said to me but rather how he said it. While many have posted about their positive experiences with CZ-USA's customer service, internet searches and discussions with my contacts in the firearms industry indicate that my experiences with them are not unusual.

The reason I am posting this in the General Gun Discussions section is because I'm trying to reach out to a larger sample of CZ owners so that I can better determine if my experiences are flukes or if this behavior is normal for CZ-USA. So, if you've got some experience with them can you please share?

I've had mixed results. My 75BD has been in for a FTE issue, and it came back as "no issues reported". I sent them a picture of the actual jam and they sent me a new extractor but didn't help the problem. I eventually found out what was happening but took a number of years.

Second problem, my x39 carbine had a magazine problem. They said send in the old mags, they'd send out two new ones. Turns out the hole in the back was roughly machined/stamped and was hanging up the case head, causing the rounds to jack up at a 45 degree angle. I phoned them back with the fix, they weren't interested.

The carbine has problems popping Wolf primers and they sent out a new firing pin spring, but doesn't help much.

75 kadet slide, the firing pin retainer plate fell out, launching the pin and spring about 10' behind me...in the dirt. They sent out a new spring, so far so good.

I haven't really had any issues with rudeness, but the gunsmith seems really busy and doesn't like to talk about anything more than just "send it in". The first guy you get is pretty nice, Scott I think.

I have never had a bad experience W/ them but it does seem that they are getting busier so they don't have time to deal W/ each customer as an individual as much any more

I'm thankful I haven't had to call them.

The Custom Shop is extremely helpful and local so anything I need goes there, but I don't know if they do any warranty work.
