Any Illinois ranges to 600 or 1K yards?

I live in a suburb near the armpit of the world (Chicago), and am dying to shoot a few of my rifles past 300 yds. Can anyone suggest a relatively close range that can accomodate 600-1000 yd. shooting? I'm willing to drive about 2 hrs each way. Thanks!

IIRC, Lockport is just north of Joliet. It's a stretch, but if you're serious about shooting and have no other option in your area, hop on I80 and head west. Milan Rifle Club is in the Quad Cities. We have a 600 yd range along with several other ranges including drop sets for cowboy action shooting.

It's a drive, but the facility is worth it.

I just googled your club. It really looks nice. I wish I had access to something similar here in southern Illlinois. I drive to a range southwest of St. Louis-Missouri Dept of Conservation has nice ranges southwest and northwest of St. Louis, but they are only 100 yards. They get very crowded at deer season.

It may be a little further (not much) than 2 hours, but the Winnequah Gun Club in Lodi, WI, goes out to 1200 yards!
