Any Suggestions for a Car (Not Truck) Gun?

I often read on the forums about "truck guns". This makes sense as you can easily store them behind the seats and still have access to them while in your vehicle. Doesn't work for cars though, we have big open back seats.

Dose anyone have a firearm that lives specifically in their car and is easily accessible? What firearm and where in the car do you keep it.

For a rifle a saiga would work well.. 7.62 or .223. Kel-tec sub 2000 for pistol carbine, folds up, can share pistol mags.. Pump mossy or remington would work well too. All 3 of these are cheap too (less than 300 I believe, wouldn't want my AR getting jacked), but they are all reliable and effective.

I only keep a pistol, might buy a pump for this purpose though..

When I had my 1991 crown vic x-detective car they left the ar mount in the trunk so I used it as such.

Never had a specific "car gun", but I have left my XD in the middle console of my accord for extended periods of time. It fits just fine, is easily accessible and out of site.

My car gun is a S&W Model 36. The truck has a Colt Dick Special and a Marlin .30-30. Add to both what ever I'm carrying.

small glock or S&W, in the holster in the car door....I'm LH, so that works out well....
