Anybody remember Romneys' assault weapons law in Massachusetts???

I am amazed how easily some gun owners forget how that Gov. Romney allowed the 1994 Assault Weapons Ban to become state law in Massachusetts, even after the ban sunsetted in 2004. How can we trust a man like that to be our president? What has happened to our principles as gun owning Americans? You can bet your last dollar that if another national assault weapons ban bill were to pass to his desk as President, he would sign it. The only difference between Romney and Obama on this topic is that Obama wouldn't wait for a bill to come to him; he would use executive order. Sure hope my kids and grandkids have a country left worth trying to turn around one day, and that they don't flame us too badly for not electing good men who would have been better presidential material.
