I haven't seen any posts about these yet. I've seen a few for sale on GA.

Just wondering if anyone has one. If so, how is it? How does it compare to a G26/27 in size, weight, etc.?

Handled one at the gun shop. May purchase as an off-duty weapon if my agency goes to the P-2000 as our duty weapon. One word- sweet! The trigger is great as is the balance. A bit larger than the G-26 but felt about the same weight (maybe a little heavier). If I buy it though, my wallet will be a lot lighter.

My dad's had one for about a month. He likes it. I don't. The magazine base crowds my fingers really bad. With a different baseplate, maybe I could learn to like it. At my local shop, they're running $799. P2000s are running $750. Go figure. :scrutiny: I personally would go with the P2000, but it'll be a long time before it's on my list, since I've already got a USP Compact and it really doesn't offer anything significant over the USP series guns.

I would go for flat baseplates but hope that A&G comes out with a grip adapater allowing the use of 13 round magazines a la the Glock adapters. A lot of my colleagues who carry the G-26 for plainclothes investigative stuff put in a G-19 mag w/adapter before going on something like a search or arrest operation. I just carry the 19. I am ready for a change and hoping it turns out to be the P-2000 full size.

I've handled one and gotta say it's one of the nicest feeling guns I've held in a long, long time. It wasn't even close to the top of my "gotta have" list until then. Now however, it's proberly gonna be the next puchase. It just felt good!

They seem to be all over NW Ohio. At least the stores I go to. The trigger is deffinately different. It's my first experience with the LEM. I liked the feel, just can't justify it with my USP40c works so well.

The p2000sk is deffinately more compact and smoothed out. It would make a great carry piece.
