I have a sp101 in 357 with 4 inch bbl as my go to woods gun. I have a nice Simply Rugge pancake for this gun and it carries very nicely, even with the longe r barrel if I am in the woods, fishing or driving around IF I have on jeans with a good gun belt and I can conceal it with a coat or long flannel. I am looking at a ruger Lcr for everyday carry to work and when out with the family and would like this gun to be able to slip in a back or front pocket with a pocket holster. Particularly I think it would be great in khaki shorts that are thin for the summer. However, people have mixed opinions on the LCr for pocket carry and I can't find any pictures of an lcr in an actual pocket. Anyone have one???

I have carried a S&W model 36 or a Model 640-1 in a Mika pocket holster off and on for years in the front pocket of my Levi's with never a suspicion from anyone.

I know it's not what you're asking about,but my Dad carried a S&W mod. 36 as his off-duty weapon for about 30 years.It's as close to your Ruger as anything.Most of the time he carried it in his front pocket,no holster.He had a thin,tan leather WB holster that he carried it in sometimes,I'd think it would fit in a pocket with no problem.I always use that if I carry it,it's less likely to pull my pants down for some reason.

I picked up the Blackhawk 2" Jframe suede holster from my local sporting goods store, cost me like, $30 I wanna say?
My LCR357 fits beyond perfect in this thing. Easy to conceal, and hardly noticeable to the wearer.
Here's some pics.
No belt to show the clips, and it's a right side wear, just took the pic in a mirror so it look backwards.

In the pocket. Never thought I'd be posting pics of a bulge in my jeans on the internet, but I guess it had to happen sometime!
Again, taken in a mirror. LCR in my right pocket. A couple of the pics make it seem like it bulges a lot but it really isn't bad in person, and it isn't a hindrance.
I've never pocket carried so this was new to me, I may give that a shot.

Thanks Collector. Exactly what I was looking for. Most pictures I found didn't show the holster or it was some wierd pair of jeans that I wouldn't wear. You and I are similar build and those look like jeans I wear. Overall it seems like it works out pretty well in jeans, great in khakis and perfect in cargo shorts. Much appreciated! **** after i typed it out i thought the same thing. Hey dudes, show me a bunch of pictures of your jeans!! Ha.
