Anyone here familiar with the Mossberg Indimidator laser?

I picked up a cheap Mossberg 590 from 1990 today, which turned out to be an Intimidator model. That's a factory laser forend. It's missing the laser capsule itself. Anybody here own one? I'm trying to decide if it's worth fixing or I should sell to one of the guys who collect these things.

Anyone? Got the gun cleaned up today. Barely shot but sat around so long standing in a corner the bolt face had a ton of dust on it.

I sold my entire shotgun. No problem with the laser, per-se. Just couldn't stand that fore-grip. Were mine to ever have failed, I'd have tossed the entire grip.

Also, I really did not like the mandatory flashing of the laser on mine.
