Anyone use something like this:

http://www.egwguns.com/browning/browning-lever-action-blr-picatinny-rail-scope-mount/

Browning Lever Action BLR Picatinny Rail Scope Mount

OR use the Browning Scount-Style Mount (which is a Weaver mount)

http://www.browning.com/products/ca...nt=blr-scout-style-mount-shooting-accessories

I want to put an Aimpoint Comp M3s on a Browning Lever Action using something like LaRue Quick Detach Tactical mount so that I can remove it, reinstall it and keep zero.

Advice requested!

Part bump, part hijack

I have yet to scope my BLR, but I'm going to go with the traditional Weaver mounts like this...

I'd like to end up with my 40mm objective even lower than this...

Which means the open sights have to go. I'm good with that. I just don't know what rings will give me as snug a fit as I'm looking for. Anyone know?

I have the 308 BLR takedown Scout and I have it setup with a Leopold Scout 2.5 power.
The aimpoint should work fine for what you want with the quick release mounts and the browning scout mount.
I use it for deer and hog hunting with good results.

CoRoMo - does the mount obscure the iron sights? I bet they do.

CMC - thanks for the response. I will check out your scope. Sounds like a nice quick action setup.

Thanks for the replies!
