It might be cool, but will probably be of limited usefulness and will just add length to your carbine. I couldn't wait to get a PCC, and jumped on the first one available, even though it was the neutered version with 10 round mag and non-threaded muzzle. Since I didn't plan on getting a can, and didn't care about the Ruger mag, I bought it and haven't been happier.

I just got it. Have not shot it. Took it apart to see how it was made and cleaned it. Very nice machining of the bolt and easy take down. I figured since it had the threads, a hider would look better than a nut. I put the Glock Mag well in.

that said, I just put thread protectors on my 9mm carbines. no need for a flash hider. all the powder is burned up long before the end of the 16" barrel.

Is the thread 1/2-28 or 1/2-36? Some makers use the finer thread so you can’t accidentally mount a 22 caliber accessory.
1/2 -28 Gotta be careful it has a 9mm hole.(,355)
