AR-10/LR-308 Parts

Hello everyone, I have an AR-10 and need to know if the bolt carrier and bolt are the same as the DPMS LR-308 bolt and bolt carrier. I dropped a pin today while cleaning the bolt on my AR-10. I found it but.... what if I could not find it? I need to order some spare parts. I would also like to know if the barrels are the same. I can find barrels for DPMS but not for Armalite.

The bolt assemblies themselves are not the same; I don't know if the firing pin retaining pin is the same. The barrels are interchangeable, but the barrel nuts are not.

I have a DPMS 26" fluted SS barrel on one of my Armalite AR10s and it works fine.

Thanks for the help. Looks like I will try to stick with Armalite parts unless I get in a real bind.

HA! I meant barrel nut.

One of my pet peeves - Armalite and DPMS use the same barrel extensions, but different thread pitches on the barrel nut so that no float tube can be freely interchanged between them.
