I have 4, 2 are DPMS, 2 that I machined myself from DSA forgings, not easy but very satisfying. I machined 1 as a retro slick-side. I'll put pictures of slick-side later. Please don't tell me it 's got a slanted delta ring I have the flat one now but been too lazy to replace.

DPMS

Three DPMS
1 - A-15 5.56
1 - AP4 7.62x51
1 - 308B .308

I prefer the 7.62/308s but it is nice to have the 5.56 to take out for a new or young shooter. A lot of people are hesitant to shoot an AR at first but are generally pleasantly surprised.

Two. One carbine that is pure Bushmaster, the other a complete LRB lower with a Bushy carbine upper. Both are New York compliant. Then there are the three stripped LRB lowers I have in the safe. . .

The AR really is a great utility rifle platform. Its modularity and ergonomics are a real plus. I cannot tell you how many times I have taken non-shooters and folks colloquially known as "Fudds" ("hunters" without any Black Rifle or AR experience) to the range who have had opportunity to shoot the AR for the first time and find it an absolute revelation. It is an extremely comfortable rifle to shoot with terrific iron sights to boot. I genuinely hope more people come to the platform (and surely hundreds of thousands have over the past 20 years). There are a bunch of solid manufacturers, civilian and military-related avenues of support, and (hopefully) its ammunition (with dry periods here and there) will remain relatively plentiful for the next 30 years.

One,
My dearly beloved Colt.

However I plan on buying another one in the future. Hopefully something with a gas piston, just for fun.

I guess the question is relative - how many complete rifles, or how many upper/lower combos?

I have 4 lower receivers and 7 uppers (including 2 post ban uppers - one bull nosed the other with a post ban compensator)

My 4 lowers are currently configured as follows
- Bushmaster XM15ES2 lower with J&T 20" A2 style upper
- Bushmaster XM15ES2 with two-stage trigger and J&T 20" A3 style upper (pictured is the factory upper with the older post ban compensator)
- Colt 6721 AR-15A3 16" upper
- Bushmaster 16" Patrolman with Eotech 553.A65

If money permits in 2010, I want to add a retro A1 style rifle.

Also pictured a HK93 clone that I was just too lazy to crop out of the picture...
