I have a 9mm AR that I put together not too long ago that has a dedicated glock magazine lower. I'm curious if a glock 13 magazine would fit in this lower so I could build a 45 acp upper. Thanks for any input!

Unless the lower has extra space, you are gonna have trouble. .45 mags are significantly fatter.

Ill get the calipers put this afternoon and give ya the dimensions of the 9mm vs .45 in case your magwell is wide enough.

Cool, that'd be great! This has me curious now, could they be categorized into "small frame" and "large frame" categories? For example is a 9mm and .40 mag the same size and a 45 acp and 10mm the same? From a manufacturing standpoint it seems like they'd want some sort of standard.

Yes. 9/40/357 doublestack glock mags are the same dimensions and 10/45 doublestack glock mags are the same dimensions. the 10/45 mags are quite a bit larger than the "regular" glock mags.
