I went to the gun show today and was looking for 7.62 NATO. There was some Argentine for $0.40/rd. I've seen Argentine surplus in a couple of area gun shops and hadn't heard anything either way on quality. I picked up 200 rounds of it for $80. It's from 1982, berdan primed, and has a green sealant around the primer. Brass case, copper jacketed bullet. It is headstamped "7.62x51" across the top and "##FLB82" across the bottom. The '##' is a number anywhere from 10-16. There was some slight tarnish on about 15-20 rounds and black-green tarnish/oxidation on 5 rounds that I set aside. This is my first time buying 7.62 surplus. What can you tell me about this ammo? Thanks.
