Arranging a single stage setup?

I have been thinking about upgrading to the Redding Ultramag press and 2400 trimmer for a while, to add to a Redding BR30 powder measure. I want to arrange them on my bench in the most optimal arrangement, and yet save space. Here is a picture of my current setup, with the Dillon in the middle. I was hoping to put this setup to the right, and maybe have a Giraud trimmer and the scale stored against the right rear as well. The approximate size of the area I want to utilize is 32" wide by 24" deep. There is also about 2 inches or so from the edge of the bench to the wall (don't ask).

Any thoughts on how much room I should leave to the right of the press? Just enough for a loading block? I want to be able to drop powder from the BR30, weigh it on the scale and have room to trickle up, and then to run it through the press. At some point, I also plan on sizing my 223 and then trimming in the giraud, and then running that brass through the 1050 with a different toolhead for the rest of the loading.

Well, I'm glad we have that settled!

I figure that a loading block to the left and a little extra wiggle room will be good for the press. I am trying to visualize where the trimmer and powder measure should go, so that I can drop, weight some or trickle, and then seat the bullet on the press. Would I be better off reaching "in" to the space to use the trimmer, or put it closer to the front and reach over it to do other tasks?

- Stand in front of the table with your body/right shoulder a comfortable distance from the wall.
- Lay your right hand on the table.
- Locate your press there such that your hand would fall on the handle.

Note that this will not be to far-far right.
Rather, it will likely be at least a foot from the wall.
(Even right-handed, you still need that working room -- especially with the main drain smack up against the side of your head) :banghead:

I mounted both of my single stages to the right of my chair and do all of the other work directly in front of me. Realistically the press function is of less importance than proper loading of components into the case than actually stroking the press. Get comfy in your spot, toss a few pennies on the spot where you want your press and see what's the best mix of comfy and dexterity. Leave room to the left for loading blocks, powder, box-O-bullets etc.
