Article in NY Times About Legal Actions Againt CT Ranges

Except for the headline, pretty well balanced article about the legal challanges some ranges are facing in CT.

Interesting that one of the more vocal opponents hunts on his land near one of the ranges in question. He also donated land, but kept the right to hunt it.

hmm... well i do have to wonder whan the range was established and when the residences went up. but if its over a mile away, it'd be hard for people to shoot that far, youd have to have a pretty good opward angle to make that.

The Metacon Gun Club in Simsbury had a lawsuit brought against it in 2004 by a group of neighbors who said the range was violating pollution, noise and public safety rules.

well with the noise, its not their fault the govt financially outlawed civilian suppressors... maybe the complainers could chip in and buy some for the firearm owners?
