I just saw this article talking about how one of the most conservative justices, Mr. Scalia believes the second ammendment doesnt disallow gun control measures.

But the part of the article that really gets me is this this:

'New Jersey Sen. Frank Lautenberg and New York Rep. Carolyn McCarthy, Democrats who said Sunday they will introduce legislation this week to “make it harder for criminals to anonymously stockpile ammunition through the Internet, as was done before the recent tragic shooting in Aurora, Colorado.'

It seems those representatives are suggesting anyone who stockpiles ammunition is a criminal... I just can't believe this. I thought I would share this with ya'll and that you might find it interesting.

Isn't it a little odd for a sitting Supreme Court Justice to be out giving interviews and discussing the meaning of various rulings?

I don't remember other justices doing this sort of thing.

FYI threads go to General or if you're trying to work up a plan of action to Activism Discussion.

All Activism threads have to provide a plan of action for other members to follow in support of RKBA or provide information to support RKBY.

BTW, SCOTUS has always said that regulation of the 2A is acceptable as long as it doesn't deny the 2A right to citizens.
