TFA needs your support.

This mailing is to inform you of an organizational meeting of a chapter of
the Tennessee Firearms Association to be held on 20 March, 2003.

The Tennessee Firearms Association (TFA) is a Tennessee not for
profit-corporation formed to promote the right to keep and bear arms and to
educate the citizenry on the responsible use, ownership and carrying of
firearms. The TFA maintains a continuous presence in Nashville reviewing
proposed firearm related legislation and advising legislators. Formation of
a local chapter in East Tennessee will allow members to effectively contact
our state representatives/senators to insure they understand our position
on gun ownership/hunting/personal safety and other firearm related issues
such as range restrictions.

The meeting will be Thursday, March 20, from 6 PM to 8 PM at All Star
Pizza, 3211 East Andrew Johnson Highway in Morristown. Thislocation
isapproximately 500 feet east of the intersection of Highway 25E and
Highway 11E. The meeting will take place in the large meeting room in the
back of the restaurant. Dinner will be from 6 PM to 7 PM, and the meeting
will be from 7 PMto 8 PM. All Star Pizza has adinner buffet of pizzas,
spaghetti, salad bar with fruit, desert pizza, and soft drinks or tea.

Gun owners and 2nd Amendment supporters in the area are urged to attend, as
there will bediscussionabout starting chapters in Knoxville, Morristown,
and Tri-Cities, or starting a general East Tennessee chapter.

So, if you guys wanna talk about putting your money were your mouth is, here is an even better opportunity. The TFA has introduced a lot of very good legislation for this year. Check out the State Legislation board for some updates on this forum. We have plans and are in need for a Nashville area chapter as well. I hope you guys can attend this meeting. It will be the first for this part of TN.

If you are in the Memphis area, then contact me for information on the Memphis chapter meeting coming up.

Thanks,
Mitch

Ah, crap. I didn't see this until you bumped it. I've already got something planned for tonight or I'd head up.

I should be able to make it next month. And if we get a Knoxville chapter opened up, I can help with that too.
