Double Naught Spy

When this topic comes up with some of my gun friends who carry very small guns or who carry very limited guns and who claim they are prepared and then start citing average encounter data, I always have to ask,
Unless you are in some sort of unique running battle, all gunfights are mutually exclusive events. What that means is that while there may be an average number of rounds fired or some sort of other average parameters noted as a common pattern in previous gunfights, those averages or patterns have 0 deterministic power for what sort of event you might be in because your event is exclusive from all other previous events.
What makes you think you will be in an average gunfight?
