Herr McCracken,

My apologies, if you want to move this to the reloading forum, I understand. I posted this in "Shotguns" as this is more of shotgun (reloading) question and the reloading forum seems to be focused on metallic reloading as is witnessed by the current scrum in the thread “7.62mm is/is not the same as .308”.

Anywho to get to the point:

I scrounge hulls to reload. I even hate to throw away the good-for-only-one-reload-cheapie-red-Win-Wally-World bulk pack and purple Federal hulls that litter the grounds. I throw them away ‘cause otherwise Mrs. Scout would leave me. :scrutiny: or if I buy one more 15 gallon tub to hold the hulls teh kids and I pickup.

Someone(s?) at my club has taken a liking to shooting B & P shells, as we're finding them all over the trap and skeet fields. These are the (in)famous Gordon System hulls that purportedly/allegedly reduce felt/perceived recoil.

I don’t care about the recoil sales/marketing pitch. They look like really nice hulls. They feel like really nice hulls, good, thick plastic. I bet I could get at least 5-10+ reloads out of them easy…….IF I could find some reloading data on them.

Anyone have any experience with these ??? Anyone have or know where I can find reloading data for these ????

I haven't heard of anyone reloading the Gordon system hulls, but.....

If anyone does, Ballistic Products abd Precision Reloading know how and have data.

Do not try without published data. Angels fear to tread there.

Just a conclusion to this epic saga.

Got an E-mail from Keith at Precision Reloading with a page from their "Blanks to Supersonic" reloading manual with data for B & P hulls.

I guess I know where I'm going to place my next (very large) order for re-loading supplies.

If anyone is interested, I'd be more then happy to forward this e-mail.

I'm frantically accumlating STI's to feed the reloader so don't need any receipes for that hull...

But I, for one, would be most interested in learning how they perform and what you think of the things once you get to shoot a batch.

:)
