Bad Range Behavior

I came very close to throwing my weight behind an effort that year to ban full auto weapons from that range.
So... because of the inappropriate actions of two individuals, you were willing to punish all other members?

Funny... I thought we, as a collective group of gun owners, frowned on that sort of mentality from our politicians. That's the exact same logic that fuels things like the Assault Weapons Ban, the .50 caliber ban, the high-capacity magazine ban, and so on.

If the idiots had been ripping up the mannequins with Model 70's, would you have considered banning all bolt-actions?

very naughty but kinda of funny
200 metres point dressed back to 400 metres SGT leaves new motorbike at 200 metres quickly calls cease fire as rounds hit all round said bike :D
runs back down to bike not damaged.
platoon ends up running back to camp 8 miles its character forming :(. "not only did you shoot at my prized bike you failed to hit it ***** "

Many times I have noticed guns not pointed up and down range. The Pointy thing pointing at people with the frequency going far beyond embarrassment.

Whenever I see a frequency of this. I will not return.
Uneducated shooting clientele that are not supervised.

Bullet holes in the ceiling, walls shooting bench, floor.
If I see bullet holes or marks where they are not supposed to be then it tells me one thing. Lack of supervision.
I have seen ranges run that for years and never seen such atrocities.
I have seen ranges that have been running relatively in a short span of time and they look like a battle zone.
Lack of supervision will kill an indoor range faster than ***** through a goose.

Yes, it being a private club. At my range, at that time, the full auto mall ninja crowd flocked together. It was a discrete (indiscrete?) cohort. A little after that incident, most of them buzzed off without a rule change being necessary.

I'm not a member of a collective. If you want to rip up realistic female mannequins after giving them names and commenting as to their propensity for infidelity and enthusiasm for certain sexual acts banned in Utah, that's your outlook.

Tom488: "If the idiots had been ripping up the mannequins with Model 70's, would you have considered banning all bolt-actions?"

But you see -- that didn't actually happen. Nor would it have happened. It's always the mall ninjas who do that crap.
