I was reading in the paper today that a kid at Ohio University Athens had a sticker on his bike promoting This Bike is a Pipe Bomb (which is a great, folksy band I used to listen to years ago).

You guessed it, they shut down the block, cut his bike apart with hydraulics etc.

Observation: How stupid is that, I mean, do people normally contact sticker companies and have bomb threat stickers made? Wouldn't someone somewhere use there brain enough to think maybe this was NOT an evil terrorist act?

Rant:I'd have never believed people would embrace terrorism and be so susceptible to terrorism if I hadn't live to see just what a bunch of cowards populate this country. Post 911 world. What does that mean. Are more people more being watchdogs, are people arming themselves and keeping their eyes peeled and refusing to be victims of terrorism? No, people are chewing their nails going OMG we are all going to die and cutting up bicycles that have rock band stickers on them.

Fasten your belts it's gonna be a bumpy ride!!!

Hiitler rejoiced that the citizens were so stupid.
1) Pick an enemy
2)Start beating the drum
3)anounce the NEED for more power inthe hands of our benevolent leader
4) burn a few books (PC) gets the thinking in line....
5) anounce 'your either for or against us'
I wonder who gonna play N.Chamberlain this go round?

Those of you who refuse to learn from history are going to murder those of us who have.

Watch what happens when someone wears a Bad Religion tshirt these days.

Had a BR sticker scraped off my car at the mall once. Came out, it was all torn up, scratched up etc. My wife had her pro-choice bumper sticker scraped off her car too.

What are the chance this guy can have his bike reimberced, assuming it doesn't have any sentimental value?

Stupid people piss me off. I heard that Montana Gov at the time Judy Martz actually hid in a bomb shelter on 9-11 cause she thought al Quaeda might try to assassinate her. Has the whole world gone crazy? It's like ready about the 1950s in a school text book only instead of Commies it terrorists and in the Sunday paper.

Rezin, where did this happen? King of Prussia? I've seen punk teenagers vandalizing cars there before... very bold, they are.

Robert Garner, you're quite right.

The parliament building doesn't have to burn, nor do we have to persecute Jews for liberty to be in terrible danger. If the elephant in our living room is painted pink and sings, it is no less a danger than the white, dancing elephant our grandfathers faced.

The problem is government running out of control, having no regard for right, manipulating the will of the people when possible and ignoring our will when it can't be manipulated. And that problem we share with those countries in the past which became hellholes of misery and crimes against humanity. Do not be distracted by the color of the elephant. Just get it out of the living room before it messes up the place.

Hmmm. I must get myself some Anthrax stickers. "I'm the Man"
